Bali Conservation Volunteering: Make a Impact on the Nusa Islands

Volunteer as a Marine Conservationist in Bali (Indonesia)

If you’re eager to explore Bali while contributing to environmental preservation, you’re in the right place. Join us for Bali conservation volunteering on the Nusa Islands, where you can make a positive impact on both the natural environment and the local community. There’s a range of exciting activities waiting for you to discover.

Bali Conservation Volunteering: Tasks & Roles

Our programme also offers a marine conservation internship, which includes certification upon completion. This unique opportunity gives you a deeper understanding of the interconnections between coastal ecosystems, local communities, the blue economy, education, and citizen science. Certified divers, or those who wish to earn their certification while on the island, can also participate in collaborative work with an international non-profit organisation, all at no extra charge. Tasks may include snorkelling with manta rays, coral reef rehabilitation, replanting mangroves, supporting local seaweed farming, teaching local children, and promoting environmental awareness. Volunteers will also immerse themselves in the vibrant Balinese culture and visit top sights across all three Nusa Islands. Further details about your role and volunteering hours will be discussed upon application.

Bali Conservation Volunteering: Living & Getting There

The living arrangements will be explained during the application process, as will the dining provisions. To cover the cost of accommodation, a fee of €50 per day is required. Airport transfers from Denpasar International Airport (DPS) are available for €30 each way. The best travel route to reach us will also be discussed with you upon application.

Bali Conservation Volunteering: What Else

We are committed to rehabilitating coral reefs and mangrove forests, preserving traditional seaweed farming practices, and advancing sustainable practices for the future of our island. In addition, we focus on educating local communities to ensure these efforts continue for generations to come. We look forward to welcoming you to our programme, where you can be part of the solution and contribute to a lasting positive impact.
