  • Profile description
  • I am currently a student in Canada, attending my first year of a bachelor arts program. Unfortunately, like in all of my past educational endeavors, I find myself utterly unsatisfied. I’ve had since I was a child, a deep claustrophobic sense that I simply CANNOT stay here. Ever since I turned 18, I’ve been absolutely taken with the longing to travel. I have this voice inside me now, just daring me to take this new freedom and make away with what precious youth I have left. My only wish is to live a peaceful life somewhere bucolic. I love wild expanses, wise old places, and all who inhabit them. I revel in hard outdoorsy work. You’ll find I’m very eager and patient, and in addition to my working skills, I’ll take an interest in almost any knowledge you have to share with me. My immediate priority upon arrival in the UK (Jan 2019), will simply be for a safe place to work and stay. As long as you can offer that, I’ll be willing to put in everything I got! Upwards of two months is highly desirable for me. I’ll be arrangeing for insurance and my plane ticket the moment I secure a place to stay.

  • Account type: individual
  • Nationality:Canadian
  • Age:19
  • Skills: Specialties:
    - My professional education has been focused on the visual arts for 5 years and counting. Most anything that falls under the term "art project", I could aptly take on.
    - Caring for animals has been a passion of mine that's led me to a good deal of farm work in recent years. Specifically, I have experience rearing goats and chickens, fencing their yards, and tending to their living quarters. I am confident around animals and have been my entire life. Any skill related to animal care is something that with little guidance, I could excel at.
    - I've been entrusted with the care of children a good number of times, including in a professional setting. I lead an art studio class, caring for and teaching up to 15 students at a time. I love children, especially teaching them! When I worked on a goat farm I'd have three little boys following me around all the time! Plus a whole herd of goats, and I never felt overwhelmed.
  • Task Willing to do:
  • Languages: English (fluent), French (not fluent)
  • Planned travelling dates: 2019-01-05 to 2020-01-05
  • Countries planning on travelling to: I want to explore the whole of the UK, but I'm very comfortable being limited to where I can find work and accommodation. In January 2019, I'll be flying on a one-way ticket, and I may spend a year or more traveling about like this. Eventually, I'd want to settle once I've found a way to continue my study of art.
  • Dietary Requirements:I'm a vegan when it comes to purchasing my own food, but I won't turn away the occasional non-vegan meal if someone else is kind enough to make something for me.
  • Driver License:Ontario G2
  • Allergies:Azithromycin (a penicillin)
