  • DescriptionSand Creek Farm is a 170 acre farm in Cameron, Texas. We grow certified organic vegetables in Aquaponics and in the field. Our family enjoys learning about different cultures and meeting new people.

  • Type of work It depends on the season. We have something growing most of the time in the greenhouses or in the field. If there is not much vegetable work to do, we work on special projects around the farm.
  • Hours per day We work 7:30- 5:00 Monday-Saturday with a 1-2 hour break around 12:00pm depending on the time of year and workload. Sunday we only do chores then go to church and come home to relax. Helpers must help the morning shifts 7:30am-12:00pm.
  • Work requirements: Work the morning shift each day that you are here. Get along or move along. Life is to short to deal with "Drama".
    You must clean your cottage to be ready for the next person before you leave.
