    Familia Avendaño
    We are a young Nicaraguan-German Family of 4 who lives & works at Finca Soley. We are happy to share with you our little Farm in paradise. We are a german-nicaraguan family of 4 that loves and lives the Costa Rican way of life. We love animals, playing with horses, gardening, building and try new things. We like a good and humorous atmosphere as well as working hard and keep our self busy with farm and family. There are various options to join our team. We love to share our lifestyle and knowledge.

    Milton Avendaño
    Milton grew up on a farm in Nicaragua where the only access was by horse. He was basically born on horseback. He has worked for many years in hotels and has done all kinds of handyman work. He has a great passion for all kinds of animals, kids and people.

    Isa Schwichtenberg
    Isa has been horse crazy since she could express herself. She donated her life to horses and the study of Natural Horsemanship. She has been very blessed by being in the right place at the right time & got to work side by side with great instructors like Silke Vallentin and Kerri April. She has been teaching Natural Horsemanship for several years. She teaches in English, German & Spanish.

    We also offer a learning experience in Natural Horsemanship and bitless dressage:
    We are a Natural Horsemanship Guestfarm located in Atirro a small village near Turrialba. We are a family run project. Please check out our website for more info.

  • Type of work DIFFERENT POSITIONS AVAILIBLE:
    1) Guesthouse help needed! We would love somebody who likes to interact with our guests and help in kitchen. Best if you speak some Spanish but a Spanish course is included! We provide room and food. Best if you can stay min. 4 weeks.

    2) We are looking for a head volunteer for our horsemanship working student program. Horsemanship knowledge AND/OR classical riding AND/OR spanish is a must. Min. stay 6 months! Contact for more info! (filled till January)

    3) Farmsitting. We are looking for a couple or friends, that like gardening, landscaping, builing and lonleyness for our new project that we start builing now! Housing included! Water + Electricity plus a simple house with wood oven. amazing views and loats of birds and animasl. No horses are here yet!

    We are located in the quiet Village of Atirro about 10 km south of Turrialba centre.

    From San José : Take the high way to Cartago >> Follow signs towards Paraíso and then Ujarras (224)
    Turn left to take the 225
    Pass Tucurrique direction La Suiza till you arrive at the Atirro river
    Pass the bridge and you see the Sugar cane factory to your right hand side
    Turn Right just after the Sugar Cane Factory where the sign Coffee Tour
    Drive around the Factory
    and take Left when you have a big fence to your left hand with a big bush of yellow flowers on it

    You arrive to an T-section where you turn Left -- There we are
