  • DescriptionWE REQUIRE AN ONLINE APPLICATION BE SUBMITTED, FOR SAFETY CONCERNS FOR ALL INTERNS AND OUR FAMILY.

    UPDATE: Deck is finally finished (except for railings)& Hot Tub in. Next build project is new pen for chickens, and remodeling inside of house to do. We’d like to clear up space for a tv area downstairs by the wood stove and create a space for another private intern room.

    We sell at our local farmers markets on Saturdays, May to October. Online Market is open Year Round. Friday’s are baking day here on the farm. I make sourdough bread, and gluten free crackers that I sell at the farmers market. Tuesdays, the Ole Farmhouse and ceramics studio are open from 10-4.

    Farm work always has something to be done and we love having interns who are interested in a cultural exchange, teaching us about their way of life and learning our way.
    * Garden needs to be planted.
    * Goats need hooves trimmed.
    *Underground canning house to be done
    *More pallet gardens to get made, raised beds, etc.
    *We could always use help to keep the many projects going on in order!

    If you are interested in learning about farming, goats, woodworking, canning, etc. this is the place to do it.

    More Interns, More Fun! We have room for 3 or 4 interns now.

    We like to sightsee on Sundays. Great Smokey Mountains, Cades Cove, Grandfather Mountain just to name a few. We enjoy our interns and love to show them around our area as well.

    WE ARE A YEAR ROUND HOST.
