Deans Court, a beautiful private house and garden

  • Marker details
  • DescriptionWelcome to Deans Court, a beautiful private house and garden just a stone’s throw from the centre of Wimborne Minster, Dorset. Run by William and Ali Hanham, Deans Court has been in the Hanham family for nearly 500 years and today the estate hosts a wedding venue, vintage lifestyle shop and health-food café, holiday cottages & houses, organic produce grown in a walled kitchen garden and tours of the house and ancient gardens.

Our home store and café are a thriving hub in the community of Wimborne. Housed in a converted squash court, the home store sells a selection of vintage and contemporary lifestyle products sourced from all over the world. The café, in a 1930s garage, serves a selection of healthy and delicious food made predominantly from produce grown in our kitchen garden.

Situated on the Deans Court estate, yet within walking distance of Wimborne town centre and a 40 minute drive to Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.

There are plenty of opportunities throughout the year to visit and take part in the various activities here.

We also need help in keeping livestock (chickens, sheep and goats), and with maintaining a fly fishing river.
