CAYA FARM Family Work

  • Marker details
  • DescriptionWe are a family of 3, living right beside our market vegetable farm. Our funny and sharp son is 2.5 years old. We are often in need of someone babysitting him. This means, looking after his basic needs, but also learn through play. Our house is on about 5 acres of fields and forests with an access to a small swimming lake, and a pretty private road. We are 7 mins away, driving from the village (corner store, restaurant, post office, parc) . Also, we have a small-scale vegetable farm next to our property and may need some help on the farm, once in a while (harvesting, planting, cleaning, packaging, delivering, building), during the summer months. Erik and I (Ariane) both have a bachelor in nature-related studies. Erik has a full-time job and is working on our farm, part-time. For my part, I am full-time working on our farm. We are bilingual in French and English. The biggest city close to us is the capital of Canada, Ottawa, which is 1h20mins from our door. Other towns are as close as 20mins away, North and South. There are no community transport.
